Go Now and Be The Fool

“GO NOW and BE THE FOOL”.

This song is called USE ME LORD: (Words are below) It is sung by Sally Atari. I have all of Sally’s music. She is truly a modern day “Psalmist”, and I’ve spent many hours with Sally. As far as I know, she stopped recording and touring years ago and it’s almost impossible to find her music, but I was listening to some of her music yesterday and again today and remembered how much of an old favorite this song is; and it brought back a lot of memories. Use me Lord always brings tears to my eyes. It reminds me that God loved us so much he became a man, and yet he was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.  As an added bonus, she is a wonderful guitar player as well.

USE ME LORD

I lift my lice to you this day
Let me glorify your name
Come now and use me Lord
Plant me here among the vines
That I might the loving kind
And prune me Lord prune me Lord

And thought it hurts to be denied
Give and get despised
I’d rather share the love of God
With all those who need
Though the don’t see
Love them through me
Use me Lord

I heard one day within
Go and tell them that I live
Go now and be the fool echo
Then they laugh and kid around
And to my face they put me down
They use me Lord

And though it hurts to be denied
Give and get despised
I’d rather share the love of God with all those who need
Thought they don’t see
love them through me use me Lord

I heard a voice today within
Go and tell them that I live
Go now and be the fool echo
Then they laugh and kid around
And to my face they put me down
They use me Lord they use me Lord

And though it hurts to be denied
Give and get despised
I’d rather share the love of God
With all those who need
Though they don’t see
Love them through me
Use me Lord

And though it hurts to be denied
I give and get despised
i’d rather share the love of God
With all those who need
No … they don’t see
Love them through me
Use me Lord

Being Pruned

Abide in Me
