GOMBS MEAL

Dr. Fuhrman’s definition of Gombs is: Greens, Onions, Mushrooms, Beans/Berries and Seeds.

So why not make them all in one dish.  “Brilliant” and I got the idea from The Free Farm in San Francisco.

GOMBS MEAL

I don’t much like the idea of berries in my pasta, BUT the berries and seeds could be included in the dessert.

Ingredients: No need to measure, use as much as you like of the veges

Roasted: Red Peppers, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, Onions (big chunks), Eggplant
Cannelini Beans
Whole Grain Pasta of your choice (I’ll use Penne)

Tomato Sauce

Berries of your choice served with Pear Anglaise

OR MAKE SOUP

Your other option, of course is to make the above as a soup.  Instead of Roasting the veges, omit the peppers and eggplant (they get slimy in soup) and use celery, kale, spinach, leeks, scallions, zucchini.  Add 1 whole sweet potato (cubed).  This will bulk up your sauce.
